Kathryn Hahn is still in disbelief over how her character, Agatha Harkness, became one of the most popular characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The 48-year-old actress made a surprise return in WandaVision as the powerful witch, who was revealed to be the mastermind behind the events of the show.
Hahn said she was "still pinching herself" over the positive response to her character.
"I'm so grateful for the opportunity to have played Agatha," Hahn told Variety.
"She's such a complex and fascinating character, and I loved exploring her dark side."
Hahn said she was particularly drawn to Agatha's relationship with Wanda Maximoff, played by Elizabeth Olsen.
"I think they have a really special bond," Hahn said.
"They're both powerful witches, but they come from very different worlds."
"I think Agatha sees something of herself in Wanda, and she wants to help her reach her full potential."
Hahn's performance as Agatha was praised by critics and fans alike, and she was nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series or Movie.
Hahn said she was "honored" by the nomination, but she was also quick to give credit to the writers and directors of WandaVision.
"I'm so proud of the work that we did on WandaVision," Hahn said.
"It was a really special project, and I'm so grateful to have been a part of it."
